Last weekend, Zoot's Male Professional Triathlete, Yu Hsaio, raced Ironman Victoria 70.3. Yu was the 9th Pro, and 9th overall, with a time of 4:00:51. Congrats Yu! For a relatively new triathlon professional, Yu is showing incredible promise. Specifically, Yu was only 22 seconds back of Olympian, Jarrod Shoemaker, and just handful of minutes behind the top 5 finishers.
Overall Yu reports that he "put together a solid swim, 1 min back of the leaders, a steady bike at 2:16:55 (24.5 mph), and a strong 1:20:56 run at a 6:11/mile pace, whereby catching 3 Pro's in the last 2 miles to finish inside the top 10.
This was Yu's 4rth top 10 finish in his short 3 year pro career!
